Sad news today for this blogger.
It’s official. I lost my prized blue-plaid scarf.
Now I’m sure you’re all thinking, "Riiiiiiight…what the heck does this have to do with uh, music?"
See folks, I spent my Saturday evening jamming out to an EPIC cd release party at my favorite place in St. Paul, the Amsterdam. I chatted with a few musician-types, made some new friends, and threw back some quality brews.
So as much as I love rocking a show with my orange pea coat, the Amsterdam proved to be a bit too warm for this gal and I needed to get my front-row jam on sans winter apparel. Sadly, this would be the last time I’d see my beloved scarf again.
That said, there is a silver-lining to this little debacle.
If ever there was a place to lose my scarf, I’m glad it was at the Amsterdam. Because you see, whoever was unkind enough to take my scarf instead of turning it into the Lost and Found clearly has good taste in music, otherwise they wouldn’t have been there.
And try as you might, you can’t stay away from the Amsterdam’s great music and beer scene for long. So they will be back.
Perhaps wearing a beloved blue-plaid scarf…On the same night one local blogger happens to be getting her jam on.
And you guys…you didn’t see anything.
